Re: LPD FOOTBALL

I THINK PV WILL HAVE A STRONG FOOTBALL TEAM NEXT YEAR THEY ONLY LOST 3 STARTING SENIORS OFF OF A PREATY GOOD TEAM AND IF CEDRIC KEEPS PLAYIN GOOD THEN THEY SHOULD GO DEEP IN THE PLAYOFFS

Re: LPD FOOTBALL

Its only Febuary but what the hell...

1. PV- returns a ton of talent from a team that played for Region D championship. If I'm not mistaken they return the core of the offensive and defensive lines. They also probabably have the most explosive backfield in SWVA.

2. GC- Dont know a great deal about them right now, I'm thinking that they lost 6-10 seniors off of an under achieving team. I know the Parks kid returns which should be good for at least 6 wins.

3. Burton- could possiably finish ahead of GC. They return there quarterback and some very good skill players. The loss of Miles and Thacker will be felt but I think Sensabough and others will fill in nicely. Probably the best D-1 team in Region D again.

4. Clintwood- Will be very, very, young and inexperienced. Could make for a very long season. Hopefully though, this season will kick-start a very successful next 2-3 seasons. I think we will only have maybe 3-5 seniors on this entire team.

5. Appy
6. Coeburn
7. Pound
8. Wise

Dont know much of anything about the last 4 teams, but that looks about right.

Is pound really gonna be that bad? I mean Coeburn lost to Wise so I couldnt imagine Pound falling off that much after a decently productive year. Did they lose alot of people?

Re: LPD FOOTBALL

I honestly do not know. Im thinking they lost their tailback and some o-lineman which was the key to all their success this past season. I really dont know though.

Re: LPD FOOTBALL

by everything I have heard, Pound has two decent backs following the loss of Mullins...i think their names are Chris Strouth or Chris Hughes maybe

However, if they lost their lineman, then that will play a vitale role in the success of the program

Re: LPD FOOTBALL

Pound should have a pretty good D..

Its all about how the line comes along.. they lost 4 starting linemen.. and they don't have any Wide Receivers..
